Claims & Support

Report any incident to emPLE promptly and provide the documents requested. The comprehensive plan covers fire, theft, accidental damage, and third-party liabilities, with several benefits included free. The tiered third-party-plus plans, Compact through Deluxe, add increasing levels of own-damage protection on top of standard third-party cover, so confirm your own-damage limit before claiming.

How to Make a Claim

  • Notify emPLE promptly after an accident, theft, or fire incident
  • Complete a claim form and submit your policy details with photographs of the damage
  • For third-party claims, provide the third party's details and a police report where applicable
  • For theft or fire, submit a police report and proof of ownership
  • Confirm your own-damage limit on Compact, Bumper, Classic, Premium, or Deluxe before authorising repairs
  • Contact emPLE customer support for repair authorisation and claim queries

nairaCompare Insight

emPLE's tiered third-party-plus structure is its standout feature. Most insurers offer a single third-party plan and a single comprehensive plan, but emPLE fills the gap between them with five clearly priced steps. For a driver who wants to protect their own vehicle up to a known limit, the ability to pick exactly ₦350,000, ₦500,000, ₦750,000, ₦1 million, or ₦3 million of own-damage cover is unusually precise.

The full Comprehensive plan remains the better choice for newer or higher-value vehicles, with its free tracker, flood, and riot cover and unlimited third-party bodily injury. Use nairaCompare to compare emPLE's own-damage tiers against Heirs' Flexi range and Linkage's Third Party Plus, which use a similar graded approach, before deciding which limit fits your vehicle's value.
