The company commenced operations in 2000 under the name First City Asset Management Limited. The company's name changed to FCMB Asset Management Limited in October 2019. FCMB Asset Management Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CSL Stockbrokers Limited, a member of FCMB Group Plc. CSL Stockbrokers has existed for more than thirty years and is one of the top stockbroking companies in Nigeria.
